HouseJet Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2026-08-26
HouseJet, LLC ("HouseJet," "we," "us," or "our") operates HouseJet.com, our agent websites, mobile apps (including HouseJet Expert Agent CRM and HouseJet), and related client sites (collectively, the "HouseJet Sites" or "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have — including when you submit your information through a Facebook/Meta lead ad, a form on our site, or any other channel.
By using the Services or submitting your information to us, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. What Is Personal Information?
Personal information is generally any information that can be used to identify you or reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, to you — other than the name, title, business address, or business phone number of an employee acting in a professional capacity.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account / Inquiry Data
When you contact us, request information, or submit a form, we may collect your name, street address, mailing/property address, phone number, fax number, email address, and postal code. We only collect personal information for the purposes identified to you at or before the time of collection, and we do not require it just to browse or view content on the Sites.
Once you've engaged with us, we may also collect account and communication preferences to configure and personalize your experience. Providing this additional information is optional, and you can update or opt out of it at any time.
2.2 Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the HouseJet Sites, including:
- Online identifiers such as IP addresses, MAC addresses, and cookie data
- Device type, browser type, operating system, and language settings
- Pages visited, and the date, time, and duration of visits
- How you interact with our online services
2.3 Information from Third Parties
When you submit a request through a HouseJet Site (including a Facebook/Meta or Google lead ad form), we may supplement the information you provide with information from third-party sources (e.g., property records, MLS data, phone/email verification services) to the extent necessary to fulfill your request. We do not collect more than is necessary for that purpose.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technology
A "cookie" is a small text file stored on your device that lets you move around a site without re-entering information like preferences. We use cookies and similar technology to:
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Record which pages you visit or access
- Customize content based on your browser type
- Deliver and measure advertising, including through ad-serving cookies placed by us or by advertising partners (such as Meta/Facebook and Google) for ad measurement, conversion tracking, and cross-device matching
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Sites may not function properly if you disable them.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your questions, comments, or requests
- Send information about our real estate services, or about HouseJet generally
- Contact you directly regarding your real estate inquiry
- Assign and refer you to a real estate agent who is a HouseJet customer, so that agent can contact you and assist with your inquiry
- Administer services identified to you at the time of collection
- Conduct statistical and marketing analysis
- Personalize and configure your account
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve the Sites
HouseJet does not currently refer leads to mortgage lenders, title companies, insurance providers, or other third-party service providers. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
5. Consent to Calls, Texts, and AI-Assisted Communications
Please read this section before submitting your phone number, including through any Facebook/Meta or other lead ad form.
5.1 Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting your information to a HouseJet Site — including via a lead ad form, web form, or chat — you agree that HouseJet and/or a HouseJet client (including participating real estate agents) may contact you, or cause you to be contacted, by mail, phone call, text message, email, ringless voicemail, AI-based calling or messaging systems, or any other current or future method of communication, for purposes including marketing.
5.2 Automated, Prerecorded, and AI Systems
This consent specifically includes contact by:
- Live representatives
- Automatic telephone dialing systems ("autodialers")
- Prerecorded or artificial voice messages
- Automated and AI-assisted voice or chat systems, which may ask you qualifying questions, schedule appointments, or otherwise assist with your inquiry in place of or alongside a live representative
Where required by law, an AI or automated system will identify itself as such at the outset of the interaction. Calls and chat/text interactions involving these systems may be recorded or logged for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes.
5.3 Not a Condition of Purchase
Consent to receive marketing calls or texts, including automated or AI-assisted ones, is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from HouseJet or any HouseJet client.
5.4 Applies Even on Do-Not-Call Lists
This consent applies even if your phone number is listed on a corporate, state, or national Do Not Call registry.
5.5 Message Frequency and Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
5.6 How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 11.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. Where we do share personal information, it is limited to:
- Real estate agent customers: we assign and share your inquiry and contact information with a real estate agent who is a HouseJet customer, so that agent can contact you directly and assist with your real estate needs. This is the core of our service.
- Service providers: third-party vendors who perform data processing, database, marketing, or IT support services on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement and regulators, when we have a good-faith belief it's necessary to comply with law, investigate fraud or misuse of our Services, enforce our Terms of Service, protect the safety of users or the public, or prevent imminent harm.
- Successors in a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, sale, or financing — we will continue to protect your information under this Privacy Policy (or provide notice before it becomes subject to a different one).
Where third-party sharing beyond the above is anticipated for a specific activity, we will identify the type of recipient and the data involved, and will only share it with your agreement.
We may transfer personal information outside the United States for the purposes described above, including for processing and storage by service providers. Information held outside the U.S. is subject to the laws of that country, including potential disclosure to that country's government, courts, or regulators.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes — including maintaining the performance of our Sites, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
We maintain technical and operational controls, including encryption and access controls, designed to protect your information. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. To protect your account, use a unique, strong password, never share it, and log out when finished. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately (Section 11).
8. Your Right to Request Deletion
You may request that we delete (or anonymize) personal information we've collected about you in the last 12 months by contacting us using the information in Section 11. We are not obligated to honor more than two such requests in a 12-month period. We may retain information despite a deletion request where necessary to:
- Resolve an outstanding account issue (e.g., unpaid balance, unresolved dispute)
- Meet legal, tax, audit, or accounting obligations
- Serve a legitimate business interest such as fraud prevention or site security
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related state laws give you the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected, used, or disclosed about you in the past 12 months, including categories and specific pieces collected, the purpose of collection, and categories of third parties it was disclosed to or (if applicable) sold to.
- Delete personal information we've collected about you, subject to the exceptions in Section 9.
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, so no opt-out mechanism is required for that reason; if this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out method.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights — we will not charge you more, degrade your service, or deny you service for making a CCPA request, understanding that some information may be necessary to continue providing a service you've requested.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will not respond to more than two requests for the same right from the same consumer in a 12-month period. You may update or correct your information directly through your account settings, or by contacting us.
10. Children's Privacy
The HouseJet Sites are not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the information in Section 11 and we will take steps to delete it.
